The organization is dedicated to addressing social issues through the performing arts, fostering dialogue, personal transformation, and cultural development, while engaging with marginalized communities and underserved groups.
The project seeks to create a valuable database that has a research nature capable of creating a constantly updated directory of performing arts practices in public and private venues and spaces across the city. The project connects live digital interactive platform for meeting performing arts practitioners: artists, artistic directors, managers, technicians, organizations, and bands and groups, as well as facilities for the practice of performing arts, services, opportunities, useful information and research resources, and communities related to performing arts such as local, regional and international networks.
Perform-arts.net is a platform for performing arts practitioners, in other words for all individuals and organizations who are involved in the field in a way or another. This platform is a core of a research project designed to generate and analyze information on cultural uses and practices in public and publicly-accessible spaces in the MENA region. However and for 2018, it works for Alexandria, but in our future plans it will work for Egypt, and then for the whole region, whenever we find the appropriate partners.
